All Saints Day (Wszystkich Świętych) falls on Sunday 1 November 2026, and Warsaw begins its annual cemetery transport build-up a week early. Warsaw Public Transport (WTP) has published changes running from 17 to 30 October, leading up to the main All Saints weekend.

Weekend of 24-25 October: first cemetery lines

From 9:00 to 17:00, three cemetery bus lines run: C09 (Metro Młociny - Northern Cemetery main gate, every 7.5 minutes on Saturday and every 5 on Sunday), C13 (Bródno Podgrodzie - Northern Cemetery, stopping by the Bródno Cemetery and near Powązki Cemetery, every 15 minutes Saturday and 10 Sunday) and C40 (Metro Młociny - Northern Cemetery west gate, also stopping at the south gate). From 8:00 to 17:00, cemetery trams C1 (Annopol - Cmentarz Wolski), C4 (Żerań Wschodni - Miasteczko Wilanów) and C6 (Żerań Wschodni - Cmentarz Wolski) run every 15 minutes, all stopping by the Bródno Cemetery, with C1 also serving Powązkowska street near Powązki Cemetery.

Regular lines change too: bus 500 is extended to Powązki Wojskowe, 727 reaches the Southern Cemetery, 409 is rerouted past the Bródno Cemetery gate, and 250 serves all three gates of the Northern Cemetery between 9:00 and 17:00. Lines 169, 173, 180, 181, 183, 189, 409 and 500 run more often, and the whole WTP area follows a Saturday schedule all weekend.

Weekdays 26-30 October

Line C40 runs daily every 10 minutes, stopping at the main, south and west gates of the Northern Cemetery. Line 409 keeps its changed route every 30 minutes past the Bródno Cemetery, line 250 continues to the west gate, and buses 169, 180, 181 and 303 run more often with larger vehicles.

What is still to come

WTP has not yet published the full plan for 31 October - 2 November, which covers All Saints Day itself (Sunday 1 November) and All Souls Day (Monday 2 November). A larger set of cemetery lines serving Powązki and other cemeteries typically runs on those days; we will update when the announcement lands. All cemetery lines are ordinary ZTM services - standard tickets and fares apply, with no surcharge.
