Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw: hours and tickets for the new MSN building

The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (MSN) opened its new home at Marszałkowska 103, next to the Palace of Culture and Science, in October 2024. The minimalist white building, designed by American architect Thomas Phifer, has a total area of 19,788 m² with more than 4,500 m² of exhibition space, its horizontal form a deliberate counterpoint to the vertical Palace of Culture next door.

Opening hours

Under the schedule in effect from 1 July 2026 the museum is closed on Mondays. It opens 11:00-19:00 Tuesday to Thursday and on Saturdays, 11:00-20:00 on Fridays and 11:00-18:00 on Sundays. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. Upcoming closures: 15 October, 1 November, 11 November and 24-25 December 2026; on 31 December the museum opens 11:00-17:00.

Tickets

Standard exhibition tickets cost 25-40 PLN depending on the exhibition (reduced 15-30 PLN, group tickets from eight people 15-30 PLN, family 50-80 PLN), and a 1 PLN ticket is available for eligible visitors. Admission to Gallery A on the ground floor is free thanks to the museum's partnership with Audi, as are events in the ground-floor auditorium, though some require free tickets. Children under 13 visit the exhibitions only with an adult.

More than the galleries

The KINOMUZEUM cinema, a 150-seat venue in the white tower next to the main building, opens 30 minutes before the first screening and also runs events outside museum hours. The museum's reading room keeps the same hours as the galleries, and MSN also runs the Bródno Sculpture Park, open around the clock, and the Pavilion of Dance and Other Performative Arts on Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie 22.
