The Neon Museum rescues and restores the glowing neon signs that lit up communist-era Warsaw - cafe names, shop signs and cinema lettering designed by some of Poland's best graphic artists. What began in a Praga warehouse has moved to the heart of the city: the museum now occupies the 4th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science, with the main entrance from Marszałkowska street and side lifts from level -1.

Neon hunting around the city

The museum also restores neons in place around Warsaw: look for the E. Wedel Chocolate sign on Puławska street, the Miło Cię Widzieć (Nice to See You) sign on the Gdański Bridge, the Warszawa selfie neon by Teatr Studio, and the boy-on-a-zebra Wedel sign on Szpitalna street - all free to spot on a walk through the centre.
