Warsaw Train Stations Guide: Centralna, Wschodnia and Zachodnia
The essentials: Warsaw has four key railway stations: Warszawa Centralna in the centre, Warszawa Wschodnia east of the Vistula, Warszawa Zachodnia in the west, and the underground Warszawa Srodmiescie for cross-city suburban trains. Timetables, addresses and accessibility details are on the PKP PLK passenger portal, portalpasazera.pl.

Arriving in Warsaw by rail, you will use one of four main stations - and picking the right one matters, because they sit in different parts of the city.
The four key stations
Warszawa Centralna is the main station, in the very centre next to the Palace of Culture and Science. Warszawa Wschodnia serves the eastern side of the Vistula, Warszawa Zachodnia lies west of the centre, and Warszawa Srodmiescie is the underground cross-city station used by suburban trains.
Checking timetables
The official source is the PKP PLK passenger portal, portalpasazera.pl, run by the infrastructure manager PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe. It searches timetables by departure or arrival time and can filter direct connections only.
Station facilities
The portal directory of stations lists addresses, locations, departure and arrival boards and - for many stations - facilities for passengers with reduced mobility, including at the Warsaw stations.
For city transport onward from the stations, see our Warsaw public transport guide.
